This is the first anime based on a manga in five years since Nichijo, and it was released in 2016.
The original “A Silent Voice” tells the story of a girl with a congenital hearing impairment, Nishimiya Shoko, who is reunited with the boy who used to torment her, Shouya.
The author, Yoshitoki Ohma, was selected for the 80th Weekly Shonen Magazine Newcomer’s Manga Award in 2008 for this work, but at the time it was rejected for publication in the magazine due to its sensational content.
However, the editorial department, who desperately wanted to get the work out to the world, consulted with lawyers and the All Japan Federation of the Deaf, and in 2013, the work was published in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, where it received a huge response.

This is an anime that aired in 2017, based on a manga by Cool Kyoukai.
It is a daily life comedy that centers on Thor, a dying dragon girl who escaped from another world, and Mr. Kobayashi (Kobayashi), who ends up living with her after saving her.
A second season is currently in the works.
The style is slightly yuri-flavored, but unlike Euphoria, the content is comedic.

This is an independent anime that was shown at Kyoto Animation’s fan appreciation event in 2017, “Deliver! It is an independently produced anime that was shown at Kyoto Animation & Do’s various editions.
In November 2019, it was broadcast on NHK.
