After the unpopularity of the Hollywood version of Godzilla released after the VS series, it was decided to revive Godzilla in Japan.
A third series called the Millennium Series was to be developed. The Millennium Series has produced the following six films from “Godzilla 2000: Millennium” in 1999 to “Godzilla: Final Wars” in 2004.
