【The Seven Horsemen of the Marronnier Kingdom】Meet the characters! And consider the special powers!

Here is an introduction to the characters, focusing on an examination of the seven brothers of the Marronnier Kingdom and the magical powers they possess. (As of September 2019)

Seven Brothers

Not sleepy

Eldest son. Diplomatic destination is the Land of the Long Night (mission accomplished).
Doesn’t sleep much and has the ability to make others sleep.
More of a scribe than a military officer, a kind brother who cares for his brothers.

In the Land of the Long Night, he is called “Night” and is targeted by a mysterious young man who calls himself “The Visitor.
He is a childhood friend and fiancée of Ellie (Eleonora, Jodai’s daughter), the assistant knight-in-chief, who was accompanying him.
At the wedding after she returned to Japan, it was mentioned by Hironori that she had threatened Shiroyo that she would die if Ellie married another man.
She was born in the same year as Hironai.

Happiness
Second son. His diplomatic destination is the “land of good color” (planned).
He loves women and has been on dates with different partners. He is very defensive, so he may be OK with men.

His powers are unknown, but his name and actions suggest that he is capable of loving anyone.
He has a mild-mannered and amiable personality, but he was fired from his job at the castle for a certain problem (heterosexual problem, I assume).
He was born in the same year as Sleepless.

Sensitive to heat 
Third son. Diplomatic destination is “cold country” (to be determined).
His strength is unknown, but he seems to be resistant to the cold.
He is extremely hot, so much so that he chops wood naked even when it’s snowing.

A mysterious young “visitor” has infiltrated (?) the kingdom. He met her in the bath when he was doing his first trip to the United States, and they hit it off and became friends, giving her the nickname “Hinyari”.
He is a pure-hearted and unassuming person. Just talking to a woman makes him thank God.
He was born in the same year as Cold Gariya.

Sensitive to cold 

Fourth son. His diplomatic destination is “warm country” (planned).
His strength is unknown, but he seems to be resistant to heat. In addition, the color of his hair changes depending on the temperature.
He is extremely cold, and the mere thought of being cold makes him sneeze. Even if his clothes catch fire, he says it feels good.
She meets “Bruno, son of the frontier earl,” who is a princess in disguise to go out of the castle as a sneak attacker.
The cold-hearted man has no idea that this is happening, but he is attracted to Bruno.

One day, Bruno tells her that every time she goes on an arranged marriage match, she is visited by some evil, so she goes on a boat with him to test it out. He is saved from this crisis by Bruno holding his hand.
Believing that someone is interfering with Bruno because of this unusual event, Cold Gariya promises Bruno that he will solve the problem.
He and Hot Gariya were born in the same year.

Animal messenger

Fifth son. Diplomatic destination is the Land of the Creatures (on a mission).
He has the power to make animals like him and to make them obey him. He uses this power to make the animals gather information.
He is not good with humans (especially girls), and therefore is not good with respectful speech.
After arriving in the Land of the Creatures ahead of the others, the diplomat Saturno receives word that he is missing, and the Prime Minister orders him to travel to the Land of the Creatures ahead of schedule.

Along the way, he learns from a bird from a foreign country that does not listen to him that most of the people in the Land of Living Things have been transformed into animals. (This bird was also originally a human “Silonen” daughter.)
He carefully keeps the Huracan feather that Saturno gave him as a child.
He was born in the same year as Sword Boast and Harapeko.

Pride in one’s sword

He is a proud sixth son of a sword. His diplomatic destination is the “Land of Martial Arts” (planned).
He is said to be the top swordsman in the kingdom. It is unknown if he has any more power than that, but his swordsmanship is thought to have been inherited from his mother, Baribara.
In the monthly winner-take-all sword competition, he and Ellie had a good match, but their swords flew off each other’s heads and he was unable to beat her bare-handed.

She is known for her bluntness, regardless of her opponent. In one scene, he sees Bruno’s squirrel getting too fat and gives him a pep talk, saying “You’re an idiot! (He later said, “Yikes, brother!”)
He was not a fan of romance, and when he heard about Bruno from the cold weather and Ellie’s childhood episode about not being sleepy, it didn’t ring true at all.
The Beastmaster and Jalapeko were born in the same year.

Hungry
Seventh Son. His diplomatic destination is the Land of Food.
His powers are unknown, but the fact that people around him panic whenever he says “I’m hungry” suggests that something terrible happens when he gets hungry.

She has long hair, a slender body, and a pretty face that makes her look like a girl. She also considers herself “pretty”.
Inside, she has a gentle nature like a woman, but despite her appearance, she is a big eater and powerful.
He was born in the same year as the Beastmaster and the Sword Boast.

Marronnier Kingdom officials

Baribara
The mother of seven brothers and one of the generals of the Marronnier Kingdom. She was once the greatest military commander of the Land of Arms, but was exiled.
The “visitor” says he gained “great power” 20 years ago by destroying a cold country, but what is the truth?

Peregrinus
Father of seven brothers. Deceased. During his lifetime, he lived on the top floor of the castle’s tallest tower.
His origins and background are not known, but it is believed that the secret of the brothers’ power lies in their father.
Incidentally, Never Sleeps had been told by his mother that his father was a traveling showman and bear tamer.

Eleonora (Ellie)

Castle keeper‘s daughter. She possesses extraordinary strength and swordsmanship that makes it hard to believe she is a woman. Sometimes called “gorilla”.
She is a childhood friend of Jouyaku Nai and is close to him. They were under the assumption that they didn’t have any special feelings for each other, but they were firmly in love with each other.
After they became engaged, she married Sleeping Beauty.

Castle keeper
エレオノーラの父。中央領伯で王家に次ぐ大地主。国王に代わって、バリバラと共に国の実務を司っている。
ペレグリナスとは懇意だったようで、そのため七人兄弟の事も大事に思っている。

Prime Minister
城内で、城代に敵対する派閥の筆頭。
今回の七人兄弟の外交について積極的に動いたことや、生前のペレグリナスの身辺調査をしていたことからなんらかの秘密を知っていると考えられる。

Princess

Princess of the Marronnier Kingdom. She has a very cool personality and may be emotionally invested in herself. I’m worried about him.
When he was sneaking out of the castle, he was disguised as “Bruno, son of the frontier count’s son”.
He seems to be interfered with by someone, as every time he goes on an arranged marriage meeting, something strange happens.
He has a large, mysterious squirrel as a pet.

“Visitor”

A mysterious young man clad in a cold country costume. No name yet. (“Visitor” is a designation.)
In the land of long nights, they called the sleepless “night” and planned to use a mysterious power to keep them in the country.
His power is very similar to that of each of the seven brothers, such as turning day into night in an instant, controlling beasts, and manipulating fire and ice at will. He is also considered to be one of the key players in the story because of his knowledge of Peregrinus and Balibara.

He wishes to become a human and states that when he becomes a human, he will ask “her” to give him a name. ‘She’ is believed to be the princess of the Marronnier Kingdom.
The beastmaster was able to get into the Marronnier Kingdom because he was traveling to the land of living things, and he made friends with a hottie he met in a water bath and gave her the nickname “Hinyari”.
At the time, he stated that he hadn’t decided which one he would be (male or female) yet, but he appears to be a young man.

Nanny
A woman who works at a castle in the Marronnier Kingdom.
She’s like a bossy mother, and the Seven Brothers and Ellie are always getting into arguments with her.
She often fights with Baribara.

Silonen
She is the daughter of the king’s entourage in the Land of Living Things, where most of the people have been turned into animals because of the corn brought by a mysterious man. She now takes on the form of a bird, but can speak human language.

The king of the land of living creatures is concerned for the beastmaster, so he leaves a letter to Sironen explaining the current state of affairs and forbidding him to visit the country.
However, on his way to the Marronian Kingdom, the letter was intercepted by other birds and was lost.
As a result, he was assigned to accompany the beastmaster’s party to the land of the living at the request of the Prime Minister.
