For Yol, the twilight encounter was a coincidence.
He lied to his brother Yuri that he had a girlfriend, and since he was going to attend a party attended by someone he knew, he was looking for someone to pretend to be his girlfriend to make up for it, and when he approached Dusk about it, he was happy to oblige.
Afterwards, Dusk came to the party, but for some reason, he was bloody.
Moreover, he accidentally introduces himself as her husband instead of her lover.
Nevertheless, she likes Dusk, who strongly affirms that she sacrificed herself for her brother, and proposes that Yol continue to pretend to be her husband and wife afterwards.
For her, who is generally of marriageable age, being single would cause people around her to look at her strangely and would be detrimental to her secrecy as an assassin.
And for Dusk, being able to show externally that she has a family in fulfilling the job she is currently undertaking is a big plus.
Since their interests are aligned, the two will pretend to be husband and wife.
However, they keep their real professions hidden from each other.
Therefore, Yol does not know that Dusk is a spy, nor does he tell her that he is an assassin.
Yol has always had a good impression of Dusk since their first meeting, and even after they become a masked couple, she feels that he is a “dependable husband” and is more or less aware of him as a man.
In addition, she hides her assassin status, but does not hide her physical abilities at all, so Dusk thinks she is “not just any guy”.
To Anya, she is externally set up as a stepdaughter, but in Yol’s mind, she is perceived as Dusk’s own child, so she is quite a complicated relationship, “the child of the other person pretending to be married”.
Because of this, she initially treats him as an acquaintance’s child rather than a mother, but as the Forger family unity grows through Anya’s entrance examinations, she gradually considers what she can do as a family member and mother.
However, she is also clumsy, and if Anya is in danger, she tries to get rid of her, even if it’s a child, with the appearance of a demon.
Anya is a psychic who can read other people’s minds, and since she often reads Yol’s thoughts, she is the first to realize that she is an assassin.
As a result, she is often terrified when Yol is having assassin’s specific thoughts in her mind (such as being enraptured by a knife) and moves away from her.
Perhaps because of these things, he was initially noticeable as a stranger.
Nevertheless, after Yol began to show her affection, she gradually came to miss her and came to rely on her as a mother.
Yuri has been adored on a morbid level since her childhood due to her severe cis-consciousness, and even now, she seems to be sulking even more, rather than changing that at all.
Because of her false marriage to Dusk, people thought she married him without telling him, and he would barge in on her at times.
Yol doesn’t seem to have any doubts about Yuri’s sisconess, perhaps because he is a natural, and he simply considers her to be his cute little brother.
It’s not an exaggeration to say that she has lived for him since she was a child, so she is like a guardian to him.
Summary
SPY×FAMILY, which has become one of the most popular works at a furious pace, received quite a bit of feedback in the first episode, but I got the impression that it quickly got back on track in the second episode with Yol’s appearance.
The visuals themselves were revealed before the series along with the other two, and the character was quite promising, but I didn’t expect her to have such a natural personality.
He’s really a character with many gaps in his personality.
By the way, it’s quite unusual for a heroine of a shonen manga (although Shonen Jump+ isn’t really for boys) to be 27 years old, and even though it’s set up, she’s married.
However, Yol’s charm and beauty belies her age, so I don’t see her as a heroine in a shonen manga, which is also a great point.
In short, Yol-san is the best!
