Examine the appeal of My Hero Academia No. 2 Hero Hawks [the new most popular new hero]!

[Why are the Hawks engaged in spying?]

Hawks is such a sweetheart, but there’s a reason why he’s spying on the Heroic Public Safety Committee as instructed.

Hawks once used his rigid wings as a child to rescue multiple people from a car accident.
And when the Hero Public Safety Committee found out about it, they recognized his qualities and decided to become a hero.

This all sounds like a good story, but the reality is different.
In a reminiscent scene where Public Safety visits the Hawks’ house, there is trash scattered around the room.
Furthermore, at this point, it is suggested that instead of “helping the Hawks become heroes”, it is suggested that the entire family should be supported.
Apparently, the Hawks were born into a financially struggling family and became heroes on the condition that public safety would support them and their families.

In addition, Hawks has other descriptions that may be the reason why he can’t turn down the spy.

Hawks’ real name, as revealed in the fanbook, is Keigo Takami.
The villain ending monologue, which is obsessed with Endeavour, describes him as “a thief named Takami”.
It’s unclear why “Takami” committed theft, but if he is related to the Hawks, this would mean that there is a thief in the family of a popular hero, and this is information that would be troubling to the public.
Also, the Hawks told Public Safety about the spies, saying that Public Safety knows they can’t say no to them.
From this description, it seems certain that Hawkes is being forced to be a spy, although the reason is unclear.

Hawks also serves to add depth to the story as a whole by making the reader ask such questions as, “Is it right to force a gentle young man to spy on a gentle young man?” and “How far is it permissible to do so for a good cause?”.

[First up in the movie, voiced by Yuichi Nakamura, of Ikebo fame]

Perhaps because of the popularity of the character, Hawks was briefly unveiled in the anime, despite not appearing in the original film at the right time.
He’s also set to appear in the second movie.
As expected, he won’t be in the film for a long time, but this alone is still something to look forward to from a fan’s perspective.

Hawks will be voiced by Yuichi Nakamura, who played Takaya Abe in “Ookiku Shakabute” and Karamatsu Matsuno in “Osomatsu-san”.
Expectations are high for this talented voice actor who is an ikebot.
Also, considering the pace of the 4th season of the anime, I don’t think it will air until the high end of the season when the Hawks make a full-fledged appearance, but it is expected that they will make a small appearance at the end for the 5th season.

Summary

This is the introduction of the character Hawks, who will be the focus of much attention in “My Hero Academia”.
We can’t take our eyes off of Hawkes’ future activities.
