[Princess Principal Crown Handler] Predictions for the movie version! What about new characters & foreshadowing?

How does it end with your nemesis?

In the TV series, Duke Normandy, the Duke of Albion, his secretary Gazelle, and Zelda, a brilliant spy in the Republic’s intelligence organization, Control, were portrayed as the arch-enemies of Ange and his friends.
The resolution with them will also be a major highlight of the sequel.

In the final episode, episode 12, it was suggested that the Duke of Normandy realized the Princess’s ties to the Republic.
He was originally wary of the Princess, who was the fourth in line of succession to the throne but was very popular with the people, so it seems likely that he will plan to bring the Republic and the Princess down together.
This will be the biggest challenge for the Princess and Angier.

The secretary, Gazelle, killed Dorothy’s father in the TV series.
The sequel will probably show that connection in some way.

Zelda is nominally a member of Control and senior to Angier and the others, but since she came out at the same time as the General, who took over from the military to replace L, it seems likely that she is a military intelligence officer.
The Republic is at odds with the moderate Republican government and some of the pro-revolutionary military, and if the interests of the pro-revolutionaries and the Duke of Normandy coincide, it’s possible that the two sides could even temporarily team up behind the scenes.

The aspects of control have not yet been firmly delved into, and the colonel, who is the coordinator from the military, as well as others, are not necessarily on the side of Angers and the others.
Chise’s home country, Japan, hasn’t decided whether to side with the Kingdom or the Republic either.

Ange and the others will have a tough fight on their hands.

Will the mystery of the Black Lizard Planet be told?

From the first episode, “black lizard aliens” has been frequently used as Angel’s favorite phrase.
The original story seems to be the female thief of the same name in “Kuroiage” by the mystery writer Edogawa Rampo.
Of course, it’s not that Angier read Kuroyukiage, but it’s a motif in the meta-perspective.

It is almost consistently “when I’m being honest with myself” that Angier calls himself “The Black Lizard Alien”.
When he rescues a pickpocket’s child, he says, “I’m a passing black lizard alien. I’m a righteous man,” symbolized by the line “I’m a righteous man,” which he often tells when he acts out of character and is far from his ruthless self as a spy.
He also once told Beato, who was quizzical about himself, “Me and the Princess are sisters from the Black Lizard Planet.

Therefore, there is often an opinion that the Black Lizard Planet is Angier’s ideal world and the Black Lizard People are his ideal image.

At the same time, he declares at the beginning of episode 3, “I will deceive you. I will deceive you, the world, and even myself”, which can be seen as a suggestion to practice the line “I will deceive you, the world, and even myself”.

The Black Lizard Planet is the ideal world for Angier and the Princess, and Angier is a messenger of justice emerging from that world.
He is a strong and excellent being who does not pretend and does not tolerate evil.
By deceiving himself that way, Angier may have tried to gain a strong will and spirit of steel to reach his goal.

However, there is no guarantee that a clear answer will be offered in the sequel about the Black Lizard aliens.
It would be more fashionable to leave this matter to the audience’s imagination.

Does Caver Lite Disorder come into play in the story?

Caverlite, which makes a certain area weightless, is a symbol of the powerful military power of the Albion nation and an absolute trump card.
It is not hard to imagine that since the division of the Kingdom and the Republic, there has been tremendous bargaining over its mining and processing technology.

This caverite, however, has been shown to be toxic, causing a field of vision abnormality called “caverlite disorder”.
In the first episode of the film, Eric’s sister, Amy, a researcher of Caverlite, was a victim.

Ange uses the C-Ball, a personal portable Caverlite mobility device, as her favorite device during her espionage activities.
There is some concern that she may be threatened by the Caver Lite Disorder… but it was never portrayed that the overuse of the C-Ball caused the Caver Lite Disorder, at least not in the TV series.

So it seems unlikely that Angier will have caver-light disorder in the sequel.
However, it is possible that this disorder could be used in some trap.

How does a princess survive?

The issue of succession to the throne was never discussed in depth in the TV series.
With Duke Normandy being wary of the Princess and almost certain of the Princess’ connection to the Republic, it seems quite likely that this will be explored in the sequel.

In the last episode, the Princess claimed that she was ready to give her own life to become queen to break the cycle of revolution.
However, it is unlikely that Ange will allow that to happen.
It’s not just Angier, but the entire spy team.

Is there a way to end the cycle of revolution and change the country without the Princess dying?

A possible development is the “invasion of another country”.
The direct cause of the division of the kingdom and the republic is the revolution of the parliamentary republicans, but an indirect cause is the “establishment of a hegemonic state with a caverite monopoly”.
In other words, the division occurred because other countries were not a threat because of their overly strong militaries, and there was no need for them to join forces at home.

Conversely, if a country is threatened by another country, it can no longer afford to fight a civil war.
It’s rather common to come together by creating a common enemy.

For example, it is possible to have a delusional idea that other countries were supporting the Republican parliamentary party in order to reduce the military power of Albion, causing a revolution and dividing the country as one.
In that case, when the time is right, that country will plan to invade Albion and rob the Caverites.

What happened to the main characters?

出典 : Amazon.co.jp

People die in this work.
Angier also kills people for his mission.
This is not a story that is just a pretty story.

Therefore, not all of the main characters will survive.

Of the five, the one who smells the most like death is Angier.
It is naturally conceivable that he would stand on the execution table dressed as her to save the princess’s life and offer his life on her behalf….
The fact that they dared to include a description of Angier killing someone in the first episode may also imply that there is no ending where she can live in the light.

On the contrary, the Princess’s suggestion of her own death makes it less likely that she will die (as promised in the anime).
Most importantly, her death would be prevented by Angier at any cost.
The Princess, on the other hand, when the time comes to weigh Angier’s life and Angier’s wish (unification of the country), which one will she choose… it’s difficult to say which one she will choose.

For some reason, Dorothy has been said to be the most likely to die since the TV series aired.
Probably because she’s an elder and a sycophant.
She has a history with Gazelle, so it’s conceivable that she could be avenging her father’s death by fighting each other…

Since Beato is not a combatant, it seems unlikely that she will be scattered on the battlefield.
However, her goal is to be with the Princess and protect her, so if the Princess were to stand on the decapitation table, she would try to share her fate.
However, that may be more of a flag of death for Beato, but it may be a flag of no death for the Princess.

Chise may have lost the trust of her boss, Lord Horikawa, for putting the rescue of her friends ahead of her mission in episode 12.
If Japan were to side with the kingdom, Chise would find herself in a difficult position.
Although, when he was working with the spy team in the last scene, he was probably not particularly blameless, though.

Taking all of this into account, I predict that Angier is in pretty bad shape, Dorothy is in a bit of trouble, and the rest have a great chance of surviving.
If possible, I’d like to see them all survive and have a perfect, happy ending…..

Summary

We’ve had no further news for a while now with the retirement of Ayaka Imamura, who played Angel, and the end of the smart phone game, but the release date has finally been decided!
I don’t know yet if it’s going to be a total of 6 chapters as planned, or if that will change in the future as well, but I’d like to see all of the main characters well drawn to completion.
They’re also starting a comicalization of the TV series in Monthly COMIC Ryu, so it’s a good time to recap!
